1011: In my pocket

If I am feeling a bit short of inspiration I occasionally take part in social media 'Challenge' that provides a daily prompt to kick start my creative thinking and give me an opportunity to try out new techniques and hone existing ones.
In January 2021, whilst in the middle of a Covid-19 lockdown, I did the '30 day sketchbook challenge' and one of the prompts was 'In my pocket' which set me thinking about walks along beaches and idly picking up shells and stones which weigh down my pockets and end up in small piles on windowsills at home.
These are some of those stones from beaches in Cornwall, The Gower and Suffolk, which I have rendered using ink and watercolour.
The print is a high quality giclee print on heavyweight paper reproduced at actual size and arrives flat in board-backed envelope.
