1021: 'The moonlit clearing' greetings card

If I am feeling a bit short of inspiration I occasionally take part in social media 'Challenge' that provides a daily prompt to kick start my creative thinking and give me an opportunity to try out new techniques and hone existing ones.

This watercolour was inspired by the prompt 'Sun and Moon' and is a composition that I had tried before without success, but after some experimentation with masking and techniques for creating the trees, I thought I would give it another go, and was pleased with the ourtcome!

The card is printed onto a good quality 350gsm silk finish card, is left blank inside for your message, supplied with a white envelope and arrives flat in board-backed envelope to ensure it is in pristine condition.
